PURPOSE

The purpose of the IIPC is to bridge the gap between the industry expectations and student employability. We aim to build a continual rapport for mutual benefit with the industry.

OBJECTIVES OF IIPC

• To develop training programmes which are consistent with the requirements of the industry and to give rise to an incremental knowledge and talent base in our city
• To promote involvement of diverse industries in the cell to foster maximum interaction between students and industry mentors
• To promote a culture of continuous improvement amongst students – with respect to learning and updating their professional skills
• To bring about employability in students through various training programmes
• To join hands with the industry in creating a productive task force for manifesting progress of the youth of this city

SUMMARY OF IIPC.

• A cell monitored and directed by the Core Committee under which the Industry Mentors and faculty Mentors will work together to identify and address the gaps of employability among the students.
• The Entrepreneurship Cell and the Placement cell functions under “IIPC”, along with Forums addressing needs of various specializations.
• Tie – ups proposed are with various industrial associations like the CII, NIMA, AIMA etc to Collaborate in student's practical education.

• Simulated preparation of students in the second semester through special classes to make them ready to work in related Industry.
