PILLARS Of T&P
T&P PROCESS

Practical Training is a very important component of the curriculum meant for the students and a valuable tool for Industry – Institute interaction. As a part of the curriculum, arrangements will be made for the students to undergo practical training for specific period of 8 weeks during summer vacations in Multinational / National/ Private / Public Sector Undertakings or Government Departments. The Internship is the milestone of the student’s academic career. Teamed with the information gathered in the classroom, this experience is a substantial way to prepare them for their future employment. This industry exposure helps them bridge the gap between classroom learning and market realities. Feedback from the respective organization helps students identify their strengths as well as areas of improvement.

A comprehensive tie up with the corporate world provides the institution the opportunity to organize regular visits to business houses and companies so that the students not only gain experience of what they have learnt but also acquaint themselves with the functional and environmental culture of different organizations. Frequent industrial visits are organized for the students in diverse industries to expose them to the industrial work culture and environment.

In addition to our full time faculty, eminent professionals from business, industry and academics are invited to address students on regular basis. These guest speakers bring with them not only long years of experience and knowledge but also the latest trends in business management for the holistic development of students.

In the second year, the students have to choose from a variety of specialization choices. There are five main specializations that are offered by almost all MBA institutes. They are Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Development, Operations Management and Information Technology.

Generally most of the students have no idea when it comes to choosing specialization, they tend to choose it mostly on their preconceived notions. They are largely influenced by ongoing trends, their peers and teachers.

Special Career Counselling sessions need to be organized in order to help the students in choosing their specialization. Experts from various domains like Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, Banking, IB etc are invited to the institute to share their experiences and clear any doubts in the minds of the students.
